TurboFold T30

The door has a fold-up motion, collecing the curtain as it rises.

This range is designed for external and large internal openings and is suitable for all applications except clean rooms.

This model has a clear opening size up to 30m2. The T50 model goes up to 50m2 and the T90 up to 90m2.

The standard T30 door has modular construction and is painted with one of our wide range of standard colours.

This model is also equipped with
- Modular curtain with 500 mm panels, using 900 gms coated fabric;
- Motor and motor cover
- Stainless steel strap guides;
- One row of vision;
- 2 sets of safety photocells;
- Wireless Safety edge on all doors over 2500 mm wide;
- Antifall device for door without counterweight;
- Single push button on control cabinet.

Three months after the door was installed, the temperature record figures were analised.

Figures prior to the change showed that for long spells when temperature drops caused refrigeration plant to increase their workload, to times when temperatures were more constant.

After the new T30 door was installed, temperatures remained constant throughout the day and night. As an added bonus the engineer confirmed that one of the refrigeration plants was now turned off.

Overall, a successful change of operation, giving them lower running costs, yet keeping their customers happy because the product was being kept at a more constant temperature during storage.

SPECIFICATION.

It is recommended, from experience, that the doors should be on automatic timer closure.

When the door is activated to open, traffic passes through and an adjustable timer closes the door. When the vehicle returns, again the door opens on activation and closes on timer.

The Fold-Up motion of the T30 causes less air movement than swing doors and the small amount of refrigerated air lost, is quickly replaced.

It is not recommended to have vision areas as these will give less insulation protection when the doors are down.
